The funeral service for Marie J. Burrows will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 3, 2011, in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Buller officiating.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rochester.  Visitation will be held Friday 10:30-11:00 AM at River Park Chapel.

Mrs. Burrows, 90, of Rochester, died on Monday, May 30, at her home.  Marie was born on December 3, 1920, in Rochester to Frank and Josephine (Strobel) Richards.  She married William L. Burrows in 1937 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  He died in 1975.

Marie Burrows was a licensed daycare provider for 47 years, and cared for her great grandchildren after retiring.  Bill Burrows was a City Heating Inspector for Rochester.  Marie  was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles, and VFW.

Survivors include a son, Bill (Nancy) Burrows of Zumbro Falls; daughter, Joan (Merrill) Lovelace of Rochester; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
