The Funeral Mass for Margaret Walsh will be at 10:30AM, Monday, February 10, 2014 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the Mass.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Walsh, 102, of Rochester, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Madonna Towers.

Margaret Adamson was born on March 7, 1911 on the family farm west of Rochester, where she grew up.  She graduated from St. John's High School in Rochester and worked for Mayo Clinic 40 years until her retirement in 1976.

On June 19, 1933, she married Raymond Walsh at St. John's Catholic Church.  Mr. Walsh worked for Adamson Motors.  He passed away in 1979.

She was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Donald) Fox of Austin, MN and Patricia (Donald) Lecy of Rochester; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Griffin of Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, two sisters and four brothers.
