Obituary

Margaret "Page" Theobald, 96, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017 at Charter House surround by family.

Page was born on May 15, 1921 in Fairfax, Minnesota to Arthur and Ida (Forstner) Hillesheim. She graduated from High School in Farmington.

On September 23, 1942, Page married Gilbert "Gil" Theobald in Fairfax at St. Andrews Catholic Church. The couple moved to St. Paul where they had their two oldest children. In 1946, they moved to Rochester where they raised all nine of their children.

Page is survived by Gil, her husband of 75 years; five daughters; Janis Theobald of St. Paul, Joanne Pohl of Red Wing, Mary (Keith) Johnson of Rochester, Jane (John) Smith of Rochester, and Jean (Dave Pettengil) Theobald of Rochester; three sons; Jon (Lea) Theobald of St. Paul, Mark (Sue) Theobald of St. Paul, and Paul (Maureen) Theobald of Osmond, Nebraska; and 30 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by a daughter, Susan; granddaughter, Andrea Page; and two sisters, Vivian and Marvis.

A Funeral Mass for Page will be at 11:00AM, Monday, October 23, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Cook officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
