Margaret G (Peggy) Hill, (01/03/25 – 03/09/14) left us to be in heaven with her beloved husband, Bob, her parents Luke and Margaret, her sister Patricia and her brother Bill.  Including many cousins, Peggy is survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

A longtime Manhattan resident, Peggy was the first woman to be promoted to VP in NY Bell Telephone.  She spent the latter part of her career successfully negotiating labor agreements with the labor unions.  Peggy and Bob traveled the world extensively during their vacations, and always sent postcards from exotic locales.  They moved to Rochester, MN so that Bob could get the benefit of Mayo Clinic medical care.  After Bob left us in 1998, Peggy stayed in Rochester for the remainder of her years, active in Catholic based services.  Despite her many accomplishments, Peggy remained modest.  Peggy's love of family was a constant.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John The Evangelist Church in Rochester, MN, at 9:00AM Saturday, 04/26/14.  On Friday, 04/25/14, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, family members will receive friends at River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home, 1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904.
