The funeral mass for Margaret (Pierce) Borst will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester with Rev. Douglas Gits officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 6, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Macken Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Mrs. Borst, 99, of Rochester died Saturday, July 03, 2010 at the Samaritan Bethany Home on 8 ^th .

Margaret was born May 11, 1911 in Rochester, Minnesota .  She married Parmalee F. Borst at St. John's Catholic Church on November 9, 1940. They farmed in Haverhill Township.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen Perry (Jerome), four sons, John (Candy Poppenberg), James, Kenneth (Mary Reiter), David (Becky Hughes), fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Parmalee in 1971, a daughter Janice Davis (Ronald) in 2008, four sisters and two brothers.

Memorials are preferred to the Samaritan Bethany Home on 8 ^th .
