Margaret Nassif Baddour passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, at Charter House – Mayo Clinic Retirement Living in Rochester, Minnesota. Born on August 10, 1927, in Salisbury, North Carolina, the daughter of Frank Nassif and Jana Rizk Nassif, Margaret graduated from Boyden High School in Salisbury in 1945 and then worked as a supervisor at the Bell Telephone Company.

In 1950, Margaret married Samuel Baddour and had twin sons, Harry and Larry, in 1952. They owned and operated Baddour’s Department Store and The Bargain Store in Brownsville, Tennessee, for almost five decades. Margaret enjoyed leading the choir every Sunday locally at St. John’s Catholic Church.

She moved to Jackson, Tennessee, in 2003 and then to Rochester, Minnesota, in 2019. Her other enjoyments include playing bridge, Bingo, reading, gardening (especially roses), cooking and being a devoted wife, mother grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Kathye), sister, Elizabeth Khoury, grandchildren, Samuel Baddour, Michael Baddour (Katie), Anna Callaway, daughter-in-law Beth Baddour, and four great-grandchildren. Special appreciation is extended to Margaret’s dear neighbors Olivia and Robert Murley of Jackson, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam, son Harry, parents, older sister Mary Francis Roueche, and brother Fred Ayash.

Remembrance services will be announced later. The family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Baddour Center in Senatobia, Mississippi.
