Lynn Elliot Meier, age 74, of Stewartville, MN, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Lynn was born November 17, 1946 in Montevideo, MN, the son of Marvel and Phyllis (Donner) Meier. He graduated from Montevideo High School. He honorably served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Jo Ann Billings, and to this union 3 children were born. Lynn led a career in the banking industry. He was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed pulling his children around Lake Norway on tubes or skis. He loved his dogs. He enjoyed Christmas shopping for his grandchildren.

Lynn is survived by his children: Christopher (Theresa) of Alexandria, MN, Dan (Melinda) of Marshall, MN, Jennifer (Michael) Bose of Luverne, MN; grandchildren: Janelle (Derek) Barsgard, Mitchell (Briena) Meier, Sarah Meier (Clayton Luedeke), Hannah Meier, Emily Meier, Jack Meier, Sam Meier, Seth Bose, Connor Bose, Lucy Bose, and Nicholas Bose; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings: Dave (Nancy Gerber) Meier, Nancy (Robert) Treichel, Cheryl (John)Klemaseski, Paul (Pattie) Meier, and Marc (Julie) Meier; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Marvel.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00AMat Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Preston. Redeemer Lutheran Church will live stream the service.
