Lucille Irene
Weber
November 11, 1947 – July 21, 2025
Lucille Irene (Ferguson) Weber, 77, on July 21, 2025 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
Lucille, born on November 11, 1947, was the youngest child to Irvin and Helen (Gullickson) Ferguson. She spent her childhood in Arizona, North Carolina and Minnesota. Lucille married Vernon Weber on December 13, 1969 in Stewartville. They then moved to Rochester where they lived and raised their family.
She worked at Mayo Clinic before becoming a homemaker and mother. In later years she also worked in various retail positions. She was a proud mother to her three sons, who loved her dearly but also tested her patience at every chance they could. Lucille was fun loving, giving of her time, and loved to laugh. She enjoyed fishing, shuttle tatting, social activities, trips to the casino, and traveling with Vern.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Weber; her sons Wade (Amy) Weber, Brent (Heather) Weber; grandchildren Caleb Regehr and Josie Weber; sisters Hjordis Engel and Louise Mielke; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roger Ferguson, sister Carla Brandt, and son Derek Weber.
The family would especially like to thank Seasons Hospice for assisting Lucy and her family these final months, and the staff at AVIVA Riverbend Memory Care for taking exceptional care of her.
A small graveside service for family and friends will be held at 10 am on July 23, 2025, at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Memorials should be directed to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
