The funeral service for Lowell F. Narveson will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 23 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Koglin officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00PM on Friday, April 22 at Macken Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Narveson died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his residence in Rochester.  He was born April 5, 1934 in Chatfield, Minnesota to Edwin and Vella (Gwynn) Narveson.  He graduated from Chatfield High School in 1952.  Following high school he served in the Korean War as an Army veteran.  He married Ardene "Dene"Treder on June 30, 1956. He was an employee of Rochester Dairy for many years and Rochester Public Utilites for 24 years.

Lowell was a long-time member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Eagles Club.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, following sports of his grandsons, the Minnesota Twins, spending time with the grandkids, and the casino.

He is survived by his wife Dene; daughter Dawn (Steve) Ferschweiler; son Craig (Leslie) Narveson both of Rochester; grandchildren Brett (Megan) Ferschweiler, Tanner Ferschweiler, Ryan Narveson all of Rochester, and Cody Narveson of Minneapolis; and one great grandson Brayden Ferschweiler.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Lavane Narveson.
