Lorraine Wondrow passed away April 22, joining her husband and heavenly family.

Lorraine was born on August 23, 1927 and was a lifelong resident of Rochester, Minnesota.  She and Bernard "Bernie" Wondrow were married on March 25, 1945.  Bernie preceded her in death on December 12, 1978.  They are survived by four children: Larry (Marlene Book), Jerry (Pat Roseboom), Gary, and Sheri (Joe Corfits); seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorraine worked at JC Penney in Rochester for over 50 years.  She enjoyed frequent breakfast and lunch dates with a close circle of friends she met while working there.

Lorraine was also an avid (and successful) fisherwoman and enjoyed many camping and fishing trips with family and friends.  Later in life, she also enjoyed trips to various casinos with family and friends.

Her most precious memories were of those of family and large gatherings for dinners and picnics.

She always cared about others before herself.  Her love and caring for her family and friends will be in our hearts and minds forever.

The family would like to thank the Mayo Clinic & St. Marys doctors and nurses on Mary Brigh and Domitilla for their most compassionate care in helping her, and family, on her final journey.

There will be a private family burial, with a Celebration of Life gathering for extended family and friends at a later date.
