Lorraine Emily Kraling was born on March 2, 1931, and passed away on October 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine Emily Dahl was born to George and Thora (Engerud) Dahl in Beaver Township, Fillmore County, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Bloomfield Lutheran Church. Lorraine graduated from Spring Valley High School.  She was united in marriage to Wendell Kraling, and he later died in a car accident.

Lorraine was a great mom, grandma, and great grandma that loved and enjoyed her family. She was known for her great cookies, loved going to garage sales, and collecting trinkets, especially chickens.  She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage.

Lorraine is survived by her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brother, and her beloved dog, Gracie Lu.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to either Frankford Cemetery or Bloomfield Cemetery.

The family will be holding a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Frankford Cemetery located at 795 ^th Avenue Spring Valley, MN. There will be a gathering after the burial at her daughter Denise's home.
