The funeral service for Lois N. Oelslager will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Depeel officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Lois was carried in the arms of the angels to her Heavenly Father.  Here she will unite with her husband Robert William.  The two will join and become as one soul for all eternity.  She was surrounded by her loving family when she passed.

She is survived by her children, Stephen, Richard (Susan), Daniel (Ginny), Laurie (Kelly), Joel "R.J." (Ann); brother, Jim (Ellie) Nelson; sister, Donna (Bob) Hutchings; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband Robert and four brothers precede her in death.

Lois went by many names, wife, daughter, sister, mother, friend but none of these were greater than mother. She will be remembered for her courage, strength, wisdom, generosity, her love of butterflies and Louis L'Amour.  The butterfly has flown home.

Memorials are preferred to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
