Lois (Bennyhoff) Just, a life-time resident of Rochester passed away Friday December 12, 2014 at Cottagewood Assisted Living after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

Lois was born at St. Marys Hospital on October 25, 1932; daughter of William and Madeline (Tootie) Leiferman Bennyhoff of Rochester, MN. She married her high school sweetheart John (Jack) Just on August 18, 1952 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester.

Lois and Jack have two sons and one daughter. They owned and operated the Just Rite Market until their retirement in 1993. Lois was the bookkeeper and worked in the check stand while Jack could be found at the meat counter. The market was founded by Jack's parents in 1949.

Lois had a love for games and could be found at church bingo, monthly bridge club or with her weekly hand and foot enthusiasts. She was an active member of her church and the rosary society.

Lois is survived by her husband John (Jack) Just of Rochester, son Terry (Leah) Just of Maple Grove MN, daughter Deb (Jim) Bishop of Rochester, son Paul (Beth) Just of Golden Valley MN, grandchildren, Matt (Allie) Just, Gina Just, Jessica (Josh) Golden, Adam (Jennifer) Bishop, Kristi Just, Andy Just and Brad Just; and one sister Nancy (Bennyhoff) Campion of Cedarburg WI.  Lois also had seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to the funeral on Saturday, December 20, 2014, 9-11am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1114 3rd St SE Rochester, MN.  The funeral Mass will be held at 11AM with the Rev. Mark McNea officiating.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Mayo Alzheimer research or the Alzheimer Association.
