Obituary

LillyAnn Kay Hayden, 3, of Rochester was peacefully welcomed into heaven Tuesday Feburary 26th. After a courageous battle with epilepsy, cerebral palsy and numerous other ailments, LillyAnn took her final journey surrounded by her loving family and friends while at St. Mary's PICU.

LillyAnn was the daughter of Justin Wayne and Kathryn Elaine (Pitzer) Hayden, she was born April 20th 2009 in Rochester. She attended preschool at Jefferson Elementary in Ms. Duchateai's class. LillyAnn enjoyed music, books, movies (especially Nemo) but most of all being with other children.

She is survived by her Grandparents Mike and Sue Hayden and Mike and Sue Pitzer, Aunts and Uncles Ashley Pitzer, Michael Pitzer and Ashley Carty, Jordan Hayden, James and Kim Hayden and their son, her cousin and best friend, Kaleb.  Great Grandparents Janet Pitzer, Lyle Conrad, Derald and Mary Hayden

Justin and Katie would like to thank the dozens of staff at Mayo Clinic, Methodist and St. Mary's Hospitals for their kindness and compassion. To our family and friends who have supported us while we were blessed with caring for Lilly – we could not have done it without you, you are all priceless.

A special thank you to her in home nurses Jennifer Whitesel, Nancy Johnson and Lindsey Shea for their dedication and love for Lilly, they truly do God's work.

LillyAnn, you are an angel, forever in our hearts.

The funeral for LillyAnn will be at 11:00am Monday, March 4, 2013 at River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Heidorn officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood East Cemetery.  A visitation will be from 4:00pm – 8:00pm Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service on Monday at River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home.

Memorials for the family are suggested.
