Ta, Tien Lieu, 82, of Rochester, MN peacefully passed away on December 10, 2022 at St Mary's Hospital with family by his side.

Lieu was born on September 2nd, 1940 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. He was the only child to Ta Tien Long and Nguyen Thi Mui.

In 1969, Lieu met the love of his life Le, Lu in Saigon, Vietnam . They went on to have 3 sons and 1 daughter together.

In 1986, Lieu brought his family to America and resided in Rochester, MN.

Lieu worked at Methodist Hospital and retired in 2005. He enjoyed taking walks around Silver Lake and spending time with his loved ones.

He is survived by his 3 sons Van Phuc Redman (Sina), Tom Cuong Ta (Kim Hang) , Kenny Tuan Ta (Michelle Trang). As well as his 8 grandchildren Vy, Nuy, Peter, Tara, Alisa, Danny, Nina, and Katelyn.

He is now reunited with his parents, as well as his daughter Hong.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff in Nassef Tower for taking great care of their loved one during this difficult time.

Services will be held at Macken Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 9:00am. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
