A memorial service for Laurie J. Ellingson-Foley will be held 10:00AM Friday, October 15, 2010 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Rochester officiated by Rev. Nick Mezacapa.

Dr. Ellingson-Foley, age 57, a retired resident at Mayo Clinic and Mayo Alumna, died Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital of natural causes.

Born Laurie Jill Ellingson, December 17, 1952 at Pendleton, Oregon, she was a veteran of the US Army. In recent years, she graduated from University of Arizona College of Medicine.  In 2009 she moved to Rochester to accept a residency at Mayo Clinic.

On September 28, 1996 she married Ridgway K. (Dick) Foley, Jr. at Prescott, AZ. He survives. Laurie was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Rochester.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a her parents, Dolph and Geri Ellingson of Green Valley, AZ and her brother, Dennis (Kit) Ellingson of Shady Cove, OR.

A second memorial service with mausoleum committal will take place at a later date at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and River View Cemetery, both located in Portland, Oregon.
