Larry Dwayne Johnson, 69 of Rochester passed away on July 30, 2021 at his residence.

Larry was born on February 19, 1952 in Rochester to Dwayne and June (Melson) Johnson. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1970. He then enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1975. He worked as a bricklayer in Rochester and was a proud member of the BAC Local 8 Union. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and "Mississippi River Rat".

He is survived by his special friend Sandy, his mother June, his three sons Andrew, Chad, Kory, three brothers Mike, Jeff, Steve, and grandchildren Dane, Noah, Bronson, and Kensley.

He is preceded in death by his father Dwayne and his granddaughter Farrah.

A Memorial Celebration for Larry will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. A private burial will be at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Preston, MN.
