Kenneth Harris Larson, age 91, of Rochester, passed away peacefully November 5, 2018 at Madonna Towers. He was Born on December 12, 1926 in Readstown, WI. He married Betty Jean Tainter on June 23, 1948 in Readstown.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Betty Tainter Larson; his parents, Ralph and Pearl Larson; twin brother, Keith Larson; brother, Don (and Audrey) Larson; son, Steve Larson; and grandson, Kurt Bristol.

He is survived by daughter, Susan (David) Bristol of Hugo, MN; son, Stewart Larson of Belgrade, MT; son, Stan (Michelle) Larson of Rochester; ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was raised on a farm, was an ordained minister with ministries in WI, MO, and MN, and later taught at high school and college levels, retiring at age 75. He had an extensive library and loved to read, especially to the grandkids and great-grandkids.

The Memorial Service for Kenneth will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1119 11 ½ Street SE Rochester). Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in the Manning Cemetery in Readstown, WI.
