Kathleen Ann Johnson, 87, of Rochester, MN, passed away September 7, 2026 at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Hospital St. Mary's Campus.
Kathleen was born October 15, 1938 in Rochester, MN, to John and Margaret (Nellie) Brogan.
Kathleen graduated from Lourdes Catholic High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Wesley (Ole) Johnson at St. Pius Catholic Church in 1958. Kathleen was employed by St. Mary's Hospital Patient Business Services from 1977 until she retired in 1998.
Kathleen was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, member of Kasson American Legion Auxiliary, long-time volunteer for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), and volunteered at Assisi Heights. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Kathleen is survived by two daughters; Ann Kuehn, Laurie (Adrian) Seymour, five grandchildren: Wesley Kuehn, Andrew (Jenna) Kuehn, Adam (fiancé Dani Stoos) Kuehn, Grant (Madeline) Seymour, Megan (Logan) Anderson, six great grandchildren; Avery Kuehn, Atley Kuehn, Croy Anderson, Lugh Anderson, Nyla Anderson, Callahan Seymour and several nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Wesley, her beloved son Stephen, parents, infant brother, and one sister.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026 at The River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers Kathleen requests memorials be made out to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), The Mayo Clinic Poverello Foundation, or the Ronald McDonald House.
