Kaden Samuel Tjossem, son of Logan and Jaime (Malcore) Tjossem and brother to Rylee and Carley, passed away at his home in Rochester on December 22, 2012 after a 15-month battle with bone cancer.

Kaden was born on October 19, 2007 at Olmsted Medical Center Hospital. In just five short years Kaden touched the lives of many and his strength, courage, and willingness to fight inspired all.

Kaden attended Civic League Day Nursery (SE Center). Kaden loved boating with his family and swimming, whether it was in Lake Pepin or a swimming pool. Kaden loved riding his John Deere tractor alongside his Dad, riding bike with his sisters, dropping off and picking up his Mom from work, taking his teddy bear puppy Tj for walks, and playing video games with whomever would join him.

Kaden, with his infectious smile, dimpled cheek, and unruly colic will forever be missed and loved by his family and friends. He is survived by grandparents; Sam and Linda Malcore (Brussels, WI) and Judy Tjossem and Ron Ruen (Decorah, IA); aunts and uncles Nikki (Malcore) and John Fitzgibbon (Mequon, WI) and Shaun and Jill Tjossem (Richland Center, WI); and cousins Madison and Lauren Fitzgibbon and Grace, Gavin, and Gabriel Tjossem.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Resurrection Catholic Church in Rochester and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Thursday, December 27 at the Resurrection Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Loomis officiating.
