Justin Theel, 52, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2024. He was born on October 18, 1972, in Rochester, MN, to William and Kathleen (McNallan) Theel.

Justin graduated from Kenyon-Wanamingo High School in 1991.  He was currently employed by Kraus Anderson Construction Company and he has worked for Union 405 for many years.

On June 3, 2000 he married Cyndi Beighley and they had two children together; Tayla and Kami.  Justin and Cyndi later divorced.

Justin's heart was as big as his smile, and his kindness knew no bounds. He was always the first to offer a helping hand, making those around him feel valued, understood, and appreciated. His love for nature was a constant source of joy, whether he was spending time with family, friends or his loyal dog Layla, enjoying a round of golf, or passionately cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Wild. Justin found joy in the simple moments that made life meaningful.

As a laborer, Justin took immense pride in his craft, particularly in concrete work, where his skill and dedication were unmatched. Whether working on a large project or assisting a friend, his precision and attention to detail left an indelible mark. His work wasn't just a job; it was a reflection of his character—steady, strong, and always done with care.

Justin's loyalty and love for his family and friends were the cornerstones of his life. Known for his quick wit and infectious laugh, he could light up any room and was always ready with a joke or a story to lift spirits. His presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will forever live on in the countless lives he touched.

He is survived by his parents, William and Kathleen of Wanamingo; his two beloved daughters, Tayla and Kami Theel of Eyota; his brother Jason Theel and sister-in-law Rachel of Lakeville, along with their children Oliver and Elliot.

A celebration of Justin's life will be held on Tuesday October 29th, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00pm at the River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home in Rochester.

The family asks that you honor Justin's memory by embracing life as much as possible, as he did—loving deeply, laughing often, and never missing an opportunity to help others.
