Julie Marie (Van Kirk) Eaton, 55, of Rochester, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 from an accidental fall in her home.

A visitation/gathering for Julie will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 from4:30-7:30pm in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, 1105 12th Street SE, Rochester.  There will be no public funeral service.

"Jules", a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend to many, was born July 18, 1956.  Born and raised in Rochester, she graduated from Lourdes High School, and worked at Mayo Clinic for 39 years, most recently in the Occupational Health Services Department. She and her late husband Mike have a 16 year-old daughter, Ashley.

A passionate Twins fan, Julie was also an avid bowler, and an active member of the Eagles Club.  She loved to fish, travel to warm climates with her daughter, and spend time laughing with her friends.  With a heart of gold, she was always the first one there for her friends and family. She enjoyed reading books and dancing. She will be greatly missed by so many who were touched by her warm and lively spirit.

Julie is survived by her daughter Ashley; sister Nancy (Kit) Brumm; sister-in-law Patty(Tony) Adams; nieces, Jennifer Mann, Jamie Yokiel, and Lindsey Williams; nephew Troy Daggett; great-nieces, Morgan Clennon, Macy Williams and Brynley Yokiel;great-nephews, Logan Williams, Colton Clarke, and her loving kitty Angel.  She is preceded in death by her husband Mike Eaton, her parents, Lucille and Clifford Van Kirk, her brother, Clifford VanKirk, her sister Joan VanKirk, and nephew Jeff Van Kirk.
