The memorial service for Judy Lynn Sackett will be Wednesday, May 26 at 2:00pm at Macken Funeral Home, Rochester, MN with Rev. Luther Matheson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Judy Sackett, 63, of Rochester, died Sunday (May 23, 2010) at her home from a lengthy illness.

She was born Judy Lynn Raish on September 25, 1946 in Baltimore Maryland.  On September 23, 1967 she married Dave W. Sackett in San Antonio Texas.  Mr. Sackett is retired from United Parcel Service (UPS).  Following their marriage, the couple resided in Germany for 2 years, then moved to Byron in 1971, where they lived until 1986, when they moved out to their present home in the country.

Judy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and pets.  She loved living the country.

She is survived by her husband Dave, one daughter; Kelly (Bryan) Shave of Burnsville, MN, 2 sons; Nathan Sackett of Dallas TX and Nolan Sackett of Medord, MN.

Memorials are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research or the Dodge County Humane Society.
