Judith A. Yaggy, 84 of Rochester, Minnesota, died May 14, 2025, at Seasons Hospice House. Judy, the daughter of Richard and Harriet (Story) Gordon, was born October 22, 1940, in Mason City, Iowa. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1958 and later attended North Iowa Area Community College. She married Larry Crowell in 1959, and from this union one son, Scott, was born. The couple later divorced. Judy married Ronald Yaggy in 1988 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Judy's employment included 23 years at Northwestern States Portland Cement Company in Mason City and, upon her move to Rochester, several years as a Data Specialist at U. S. West.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and served in various voluntary capacities there_, including Sunday School teacher and board member of the Church Foundation. She also volunteered for several organizations in the community.
Judy's greatest joy was being with family, as well as traveling, reading and spending time at their summer cottage in Clear Lake, Iowa.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ron, of Rochester, son Scott (Laura) Crowell of Marshall, Minnesota and step-son Steve (Carol) Yaggy of Rochester. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Lindsey (Mike) Larson, Chelsea Crowell (Dane Gillespie), Katelyn (Matthew) Bauer, Danielle (Mitchell) Baye, Jordan (Jillian) Yaggy and Kristin (Ben) Fritz, and eight greatgrandchildren, Kyler, Aria and Brexton Larson, Sheldon and Marshall Brown, Kit and Beau Bauer, Henrik and Jovi Yaggy, and Dutton Fritz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jerry Gordon, and a sister, Dolly Johnson.
The memorial services will be privately held at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, MN. A private burial will be held at Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, Iowa.
