Joyce Elaine Dwyer, 65, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Saint Marys Hospital.

Joyce, daughter of Esther and Walter Broten, Sr., was born February 29, 1944 in Rochester, Minnesota. She married Richard (Dick) Lee Dwyer, Sr. on October 23, 1964.

She is survived by her husband, Dick; son, Ric; daughter-in-law, Lisa; two granddaughters, Ashley and Lauren; and two brothers, Harry and Walt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Mae; two brothers, Richard and Stan; and two sisters, Dorothy and Julie.

In addition to being an avid reader, Joyce enjoyed cooking, playing cards and games, socializing, bicycling, and listening to music.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, at Macken Funeral Home, 1105 12 ^th Street SE. Friends and relatives are invited to visit one hour prior to the service.
