John "Jack", 73, of Rochester, died at peace on January 8, 2018 surrounded by family at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island, MN. He was born September 3, 1944 in Rochester, MN, an only child to Francis and Dolores (Klinkhammer) Toomey.

Jack was a loyal Minnesotan, cheering for the home team and enjoying the changing seasons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and driving on a back country road. Jack will be remembered for his kind heart, smiling eyes, and strong love of family.

Jack is survived by his two daughters, Carla and Paula; two sons, Ken and Jay; and one granddaughter, Lauryn. He was preceded in death by his parents.
