Joey W. Eaton Sr. – Lyndon Station, WI

Joey Walter Eaton Sr, 76 of Lyndon Station, WI, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at home.

Joey was born November 20, 1948, in Glencoe, MN to Richard and Elaine (Smith) Eaton. At age 19 he became a Navy See Bee and was sent to Vietnam. After 1 year in country, he made it on to the 21-man drill team and finished out his service to the country. He then started his career as a truck driver where he worked for multiple people. In 1992, he went to work at Artic Air Express where he finished his driving career in 2018.

Joey had a passion for trucks and always looked forward to the Big Iron Classic, taking his classic cars to car shows and 20 plus years of attending NASCAR races.

He is survived by sons, Joey Eaton Jr. of Lakeville, MN, and John Eaton of Dakota, MN; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson and his significant other Dale Ann of over 30 yrs; two sisters, Sharon (Keith) McAtee, of Stewartville and Linda Wasko of La Crescent, MN. Joey was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Elaine Eaton; brother, Richard Eaton; and sister, Joanne Harreld.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, 1105 12th St. S.E., Rochester, MN 55904, with Rev. Richard Scott officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial at Woodlawn cemetery in Stewartville, MN to follow.
