Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Ann Pralle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, who went to Heaven on March 8, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on January 4, 1968, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jennifer lived a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering strength.

Jen was a proud graduate of Sheboygan Lutheran High School before pursuing her Bachelor's degree at Concordia University in Nebraska. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to education led her to earn her Master's degree in 2019. It was at Concordia University, she met her husband, Joel Pralle; their bond flourished into a 33-year marriage characterized by love and laughter.

In 1995, the couple moved to Rochester, Minnesota, where Jen made a lasting impact as an English and reading teacher at Rochester Central Lutheran School, Friedell Middle School, and Dakota Middle School. Her commitment to her students was evident in her teaching, and she continued to inspire young minds until January 20, 2026.

Jen faced the challenges of breast cancer with remarkable courage for six years. Throughout her journey, she remained a steadfast believer in Jesus, viewing her life's challenges through the lens of faith, hope, and strength. Jen was a woman on a mission for God, and she now finds peace and victory in the embrace of Jesus, "living the dream" that she so fervently cherished.

She was also known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family and friends. Jen had many passions, from fishing and gardening to spending cherished moments at the family cottage on Enterprise Lake. She enjoyed playing card games, shopping, and travelling to be with her family, but her greatest joy came from the laughter and love shared with her children and grandchildren, Eliza and Parker.

Jen is preceded in death by her father, Donald Fenske, and her beloved grandparents.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Joel; children, Jacob (Morgan) Pralle and Madyson (Adam) Pinn; granddaughters, Eliza and Parker; her mother, Sandra Fenske; her in-laws, Leroy and Paula Pralle; her sisters, Stefanie Willard, Susan (David) Ferguson, and Kathryn (Joel) Pape; her brothers-in-law, Eric (Elizabeth) Pralle and Sean (Quinelle) Pralle; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026, the church, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

The family encourages everyone to wear Jen's favorite color, purple, to honor her.
