Jan leaves behind her beloved husband of 21 years, Ron Amundson and her dear cousin Corey Crowder. She enjoyed traveling the world and was multi-lingual. The city of Paris, France where she lived for a while held an especially fond space in her heart. She was a huge fan of the arts, both performing and visual.

Jan's life revolved around Joshua 24:15b. "For me and my household, we shall serve the Lord". She loved her faith community at Pax Christi and spent many hours per week in prayer at the adoration chapel. Over the years, she received 2 awards from the Salvation Army for her volunteer work during the bell ringing seasons.

Memorials may be sent to the Catholic Foundation of Southern Minnesota with funds earmarked for seminarian education, The Salvation Army, or the arts/education organization of your choice.
