Jane Sather, 63, of Rochester, MN, passed away on May 4th, 2022 at St. Marys Hospital.

Jane was born on February 23, 1959, to George and Minerva (Grindland) Milde in Glendive, Montana.  She graduated from Mayo High school in 1977.  Jane worked for the Mayo Clinic from the age of 15 until she was no longer physically able to.  She was inducted into the Argent Society and worked there for over 40 years.

In 1980 Jane married David Sather and went on to have 2 children.  She loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren.  Jane enjoyed spending her summers outside in the sun reading a good crime novel while listening to classic rock.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating, and spent her winters inside awaiting the warm summers return.

She is survived by her 2 children: Jessica (Alex) Olsen of Zumbrota, MN, and  Jeremy Sather of Rochester, MN; 4 grandchildren: Tessanna, Zander, Lillabelle and Ginny; as well as her sister, Mary (Harry) Melander of Mahtomedi, MN.

Jane was predeceased by her mother, Minerva, father, George, and her brother, David.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May, 11, 2022, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Foster officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Highland Prairie Cemetery in Preston, MN.

Memorials are preferred to the family.
