The funeral service for Jane Friedrich will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral.  Visitation will be from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, Monday, June 13, 2016 in the River Park Chapel, and one hour before the service on Tuesday.  Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Jane Evelyn Friedrich, 80, of Rochester died June 9, 2016 of cancer, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was born on October 11, 1935 in Rochester to Lloyd and Evelyn (Heyn) Hanson.  She attended Rochester High School, graduating in 1953. On July 11, 1953, she married James Friedrich.  The couple made Rochester their home where Jane worked for GAB Adjustment Bureau for 47 years, retiring on January 1, 2000.

Jane is survived by one daughter; Roxanne (Michael) Robinson of Rochester; grandchildren; Jeanna (Daren) Kaster of Spring Valley, Bill (Toshia Bjerke) Robinson of Rochester and Jessica Latterell of Minneapolis; great-grandchildren; Nolan Robinson and Addilin Kaster; one sister, Virginia Collett (James deceased) of Rochester and one brother, James L. Hanson (Julie) of Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert (1995) and Ray (2008) and her husband James in (2010).

She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall.

Jane love spending time with family, enjoying her grandchildren, going on family vacations, her flowers, birds, jigsaw puzzles and solitaire.
