James A. Geerdes, 76, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025.

Jim was born in Rochester, on July 28, 1949, the son of Harold and Carol Geerdes.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and by his life partner, Christal Richardson. He is survived by his sons, Sam and Sasha Nichols, both of California, daughter Sonja Silvernail; brother, Kris Geerdes of Rochester; sister, Bryn Geerdes of Ashland, NE and two grandchildren.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
