The funeral service for James J. Dalsbo will be 11:00am Wednesday at the River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home with the Rev. James D. Russell officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary  Cemetery in Rochester.

Mr. Dalsbo, 74, of Rochester, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at Seasons Hospice.

Jim was born September 23, 1937 in Rochester to Julius and Emelia  Dalsbo.  He was raised in Rochester and in his early years moved to Texas for short while.  Returning to Rochester, he worked with his father at the Parkside Hotel.  In later years he participated in Caring Partners at the Salvation Army which was an important part of his life where he had made many good friends.

Jim will be remembered for his good sense of humor and smile.

He is survived by his sister Barbara (John) Taylor of Rochester and 3 nephews, John Jr., Bill, and Charlie all of the Rochester area.

Visitation will be one hour in advance of the service on Wednesday.  Family prefers memorials to the Salvation Army.
