The funeral for Jacqueline "Jackie" Johnson will be at 3:00pm on Friday, January 7, 2011 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Helberg officiating.  Burial will be in the Chatfield Cemetery in the spring.

Mrs.  Johnson, 75 of Rochester, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Fontaine Towers.

She was born on April 20, 1935 in Burt Iowa.  She graduated from Algona High School in 1952 and had resided in Stewartville, and later Rochester.  She married Robert L. Pifer, Sr. on December 26, 1951 in Humboldt  Iowa.  He passed away on July 10, 1955.  She married Doyle Johnson on December 16, 1956 in Fairmont  Minnesota.  He passed away on January 15, 1985.

Mrs. Johnson had worked as a waitress at the Rochester Airport as well as a housekeeper for St. Marys Hospital.

She is survived by 3 sons; Steven Johnson of San Angelo TX, John Johnson of Rapid City SD, James (Sammi Dickut) Johnson of Oklahoma; one daughter, Diane (Alen Doroff) Brandt of Mounds View, MN; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Myrle Woltz Jr. of Independence, MO, John (Anne) Woltz of Brisbane Australia, Kenneth (Marlene) Woltz of Wykoff, MN; one sister, Elaine (Ray) Herron of Warsaw, MO.  She was preceded in death by 2 husbands and one son.

Mrs. Johnson enjoyed reading, music, crocheting and genealogy.  She was very active with the Fontaine Towers Residence Committee and also quite active with the Senior Lunch Program.
