Howard Bryce Tottingham, Sr. of Rochester, passed away on April 8, 2017 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth.

Howard was born on July 14, 1932 in Rochester to Bryce and Velma (Kirkwood). He attended school in Eyota, MN. Howard married Lavonne Fenske on September 11, 1951. The couple made their homes between California and Minnesota, finally settling in the Dover-Eyota area. In 1973, they moved to Rochester. Howard worked various jobs as an Auto Mechanic, (POP), Pacific Ocen Park and Boeing in California and Eyota Lumber Yard and as a truck/semi driver in Minnesota. For a few years, Howard ran the Eyota Café and did all the cooking and pie making.

Howard is survived by his children, Roger (Linda) Tottingham of Oronoco, Bonnie (Jim) Hockens of Oronoco, Jerry Tottingham of the Twin Cities, Jim Tottingham of Arizona, Don "KC" (Sandy) Tottingham of Elgin, Bob (Deb) Tottingham of Colorado, Jeanne (Dana) Brankhorst or Rochester; one sister, Joyce M. Tottingham of Rochester; and one daughter-in-law, Kim Tottingham of Kasson; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Bryce and Velma; his wife, Lavonne; one son, Howard, Jr.; his brother, Keith; one grandson, Heath; and one granddaughter, Ashlie Rose.

Howard loved his coffee time at Hy-Vee and playing 500.

A funeral service for Howard will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 12PM in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Woodward officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Rochester.
