Harold Raymond Oviatt, 79, of Rochester, died Monday, November 6, 2017 at Rochester West Health Services in Rochester.

Harold was born March 4, 1938 in Rochester to Lyle R and Dorothy (Zempel) Oviatt.  He attended school in Rochester.  He served in the Army and the Army National Guard where he was awarded three medals for marksmanship.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports and collecting Elvis and Dale Earnhardt memorabilia.  In 1965 he married Karen Tenneson and they later divorced. In 1987 he re-married Sally Ann Petersen and they made their home in Rochester where he worked as a delivery driver for auto parts.

Harold is survived by his wife, Sally; his daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Ahlman of Minneapolis, his step-daughter, Sue (Don) Johnson of Chatfield, his step-son, Anton (Linda) Petersen of Richfield, his daughter-in-law, Trisha Urell Oviatt of Rochester; eight grandchildren, Dustin Wever, Shane Wever, Kyle Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Megan (Jayson) Stob, Alaxzandra (Cory) Fortsch, Aleesha Oviatt and Hunter Oviatt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Darrell.

Harold will be remembered with a visitation on Sunday, November 12 ^th from 11am to 3pm in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester.  Burial will be at a later date.
