Ha Douangmichit, 76, of Rochester died peacefully at his residence on February 19, 2018 with his family by his side.

Ha was born on December 16, 1941 in Sayaboury, Laos. He came to the United States in 1980 to Seattle, WA. Two years later, he moved to Rochester and raised three sons. Ha worked for the Rochester Public Schools at Friedell Middle School and Century High School as a custodian until he retired in 2007. He enjoyed hunting and fishing locally.

He is survived by his wife, Vanh of Rochester; his sons, Andrew (Andrea) of Rochester, Thone (Kayla) of Rochester; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Bounlai; and two brothers.

The Funeral Service for Ha will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery of Rochester.
