Gregory Hazen Muyres, 64, of Faribault MN, formerly of Rochester MN, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 as a result of a heart attack at St. Marys Hospital.

Greg grew up in Rochester and attended St Francis and Mayo High Schools. Greg had been employed by Qwest of Faribault for many years.

Survivors include his siblings, John of Rochester, Jim of Mankato, Dan (Shellie) of Rochester, Carol of Elkader,Ia, Gail (Brian) Ripley of Lakeville; stepmother, Helen Anderson; and stepsons, Dan and Jeff Spencer; as well as ten nieces & nephews and three and a half great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick) Muyres; mother, Frances (Reimer) Muyres; and his sister, Linda (Muyres) Becker.

A remembrance service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21st in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Hortvedt officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
