A funeral Mass celebrating the life of Grace Griffin will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Madonna Towers Chapel officiated by Rev. James Russell. Friends may call one hour before the service.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Griffin, age 90 passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Madonna Towers in Rochester.

Grace was born in Duluth, MN on September 20, 1920 to John and Agnes Mongeon. She married John Griffin on July 31, 1943 in Rochester. John passed away December 2003. Grace worked at the Rochester Golf and Country Club, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed baking, reading, puzzles, playing cards and games.

She is survived by two sons, Gordon (Karen) of Richfield, Thomas of Byron, one daughter, Nancy Skanson of Rochester; 5 grandchildren, Aimee, Peter, Nicholas, Brian and Michael.  She was preceded in death by her husband John and son Gregory, two brothers and six sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Madonna Towers. Grace's family extends a very special thank you to them for the loving care they gave to their mother and grandmother.
