Gloria Pauline Sheldon – Rochester

The Graveside Service for Gloria Sheldon will be at 2:00PM Monday, April 27, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Shaun Heremza officiating. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held at 5:00PM , Monday, April 27, 2015 at the American Legion Post 92 Club, in Rochester.

Gloria, 87 of Grand Meadow, MN, formerly of Rochester, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center.

Gloria was born on December 7, 1927 in Bloomfield Township, MN to William and Luella Roberts. On July 20, 1974, she married Richard Sheldon of Rochester.

Gloria worked as a secretary for Home Federal Bank for 49 years, and retired in 1994. She later went on to work for Rosscrafts Gifts, Natalie's Hallmark, and Sana's Gifts in the Kahler Hotel. She is survived by her son, William "Billy" Sheldon; two granddaughters, Blake and Brooke Thatcher; one great-grandson, Carter Wambeam; one brother, Jim (Jo) Roberts, all of Rochester and one sister, Ethelyn (Robert) Johnson of Grand Meadow. She is preceded in death by her husband.

Gloria had a love for music and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Memorials are preferred to the family.
