Gerald P. Baier, 85, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2025. He was born on January 19, 1940, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Paul and Hazel (Busher) Baier.

Gerald was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his children: Sue Lehman, Scott Baier, and Jeff Baier; his grandchildren: Emma Lehman, Erin (Brandon) Rhoades, Bram Baier, Colton Baier, and Colter Baier; and his five beloved great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Kay Baier, his parents, one brother, and one sister.

A funeral service to honor Gerald's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, with Rev. Karen Foster officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
