Frank Donovan Eaton, 82, of Rochester, Minnesota, died on Sept 11, 2026, after a period of declining health. 

Frank was born Feb 26, 1944, in Rochester, MN, to Frank and Evelyn (Donovan) Eaton. He spent much of his life in the Rochester area and worked for the Olmsted County Highway Dept. for 33 years before retiring. Frank enjoyed motorcycles and cars, and he was often found tinkering in his garage when he wasn't busy. He'd often take his vehicles for cruises through Olmsted and Winona counties. 

Frank also enjoyed conversations with his close friends over breakfast or over beer. He considered himself a carpenter and craftsman and was often working on one project or another around his house. 

Frank's family would like to thank the staff at Cottagewood Senior Living and his hospice team for the care and comfort they provided in his final months. 

Frank is survived by his son, Kelly Huberty (Candida); his grandchildren, Stella, Theo, Gemma and Milo; his brother, John Eaton (Barbara); his sister, Beverly Fountain of Appleton, WI; and his brother-in-law, Irv Miller of Genoa, MN. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Kay Miller. An informal service will be held at a later date.
