Eunice Hoffman died on December 11, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester following complications of a stroke.  She was born November 25, 1922 in North Dakota.  She moved to Rochester in 1954 to work as a nurse.  Eunice married Leonard on January 15, 1977 in Rochester.  She worked as a nurse and a caregiver for many years in the Rochester area.  Eunice enjoyed spending time with her cats, reading cookbooks, dancing and loved playing bingo.  She was a very caring and helpful person.

Survivors include her husband Leonard Hoffman; children Glenn (Sharon) Dewitz of Oakdale, MN, Thomas Dewitz of Rochester and special friends Michael (Kathy) Tollefsrud of Pigeon Forge, TN; siblings Belva Rime of Garrison, ND, and Col. George (Ione) Krueger, retired of San Antonio, TX; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 11:00AM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester. (507)288-6430. Following the service family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the church.  Burial will be at a later date at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
