Eugene E. Dunagan – Rochester, MN

Eugene E. Dunagan, age 73, of Rochester died January 30, 2010 at Waupun Memorial Hospital in Waupun, WI. of cancer.  Eugene was born November 19, 1936 in Rochester.  He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1954.  He also graduated from St. Mary's College in Winona, MN.  He also attended St. Paul Seminary for one year.  Eugene was a school teacher for 30 years at the Colfax High School in Colfax, WI.

Survivors include sister Eileen (Melvin) Meyers of Plainview, MN brother John (De Loris) Dunagan of Wabasha, MN and 11 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his foster child Troy Longdo of Colfax, WI. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents.

Eugene was very active in community events, and coached high school one act plays.  He also spent many hours working on the genealogy of his family.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:30AM at Macken Funeral Home.  Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens at a later date.
