Ethel E. (Leitzen) Allen, 89 of Rochester, MN died Friday Dec 14 ^th , 2012 at her home.  Ethel was born March 23, 1923 in Rochester, MN to Bert and Ellen (Loffelmacher) Leitzen.   She graduated from High School in Rochester and worked for the Mayo Clinic before starting her family.   In 1953 she married Kenneth C. Allen. The couple made their home in Rochester.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth, two daughters, Kathy Allen of Northborough, MA, Nancy Larsen (Chris) of Rochester MN, four sons, David (Surapa) of Sioux Falls, SD, Michael (Corrinn) of Eagan, MN, Richard (Sandra) of Wichita, KS and Thomas of Rochester, MN; ten grandchildren, Kristina, Dustin, Jacob, Mathew, Joshua (Cory), Nathan, Zachary, Alexander, Jarrett and Carter; and a brother, Bud (Ione)  Leitzen.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
