Ethan Lee Rindels, age 13 of Rochester passed away on May 4, 2016 at his home.

Ethan was born on September 1, 2002 in Rochester. He was currently in 7th grade at Willow Creek Middle School. Ethan loved hunting, soccer, bowling, riding his scooter, spending time outdoors, building things, (especially out of duct-tape) Lego's, spending time at the family cabin and hanging out with his cousin Nate. Ethan was mechanically-inclined, and enjoyed learning about cars and how they worked. Ethan was a loved son, brother, grandson and nephew who had a big heart, many times helping others who were less fortunate.

He is survived by his mother Amy Rindels (Cory Low) and father Eric Rindels, his sister Melia Rindels, his aunt Tonya (Greg) Griffin, his uncle Alan (Kelle) Wacholtz, his cousins Nate and Owen Griffin, his maternal grandparents Tom (Mavis) Wacholtz, paternal grandfather Wylie Rindels, paternal great-grandmother Gerry Rindels and Beverly Simmons, and maternal great-grandmother Jean Larson.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Raegene Rindels, his maternal great-grandfathers Burl Larson and Hubert Wacholtz, his maternal great-grandmother Virginia Wacholtz and his paternal great-grandfathers Ell Rindels and Harry Highshoe.

The Funeral Service for Ethan will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00am at Calvary Evangelical Free Church (5500 25th Ave. NW Rochester, MN) with Pastor Larry Orth officiating. All friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation starting at 9:00am prior to the service.
