Eric Edward Kurtz, 44, Rochester, MN, died August 15, 2021 peacefully at his home.

Eric was born March 19, 1977 in Rochester, MN to Edward and Diane (St. Laurent) Kurtz. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1996. He obtained his associate degree in Graphic Arts from Western Wisconsin Technical College and worked 16 years for Spectrum (formerly Charter Communications). He was most recently employed at MetroNet Cable Company's Rochester office, and was considered a valuable employee.

Eric was an Avid sports fan. In his youth he enjoyed swimming and playing baseball. He had a passion for movies and drawing. Eric was a sweet, kind, gentle soul to all.

He is survived by his Parents Ed Kurtz and Diane St. Laurent, his siblings Rodd Kurtz, Chris Kurtz, and Jennifer Kurtz, along with many nieces and nephews he adored.

The family is planning a private service for a later date. His ashes will be interred at St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery, Simpson, MN.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
