Elaine Margaret Brown, 85, of Rochester passed away September 19, 2016 at Seasons Hospice.

Elaine Margaret (Kath) Brown was born on January 7, 1931 to William and Minna Kath in Racine, MN. Elaine married Donald Brown in 1948.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; three children, Jerry (Marlynn) Brown, Robert Brown, and Deborah (Bruce) Schmidt; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.

Elaine loved cooking, keeping a nice home, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
