Edna "Beth" Evenson, 86, of Rochester died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Samaritan Bethany Home on 8th. Beth was born February 14, 1932 to Ed and Marilla Heusinkveld in Greenleafton, MN. She graduated from Preston High School.

On November 8, 1952, Beth married DuWane "Duey" Evenson at the Dutch Reformed Church in Greenleafton, MN. Duey died October 30, 2004. Beth worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital in Rochester for 40 Years.

Mr. and Mrs. Evenson were long-time members of Zumbro Lutheran Church. They loved traveling and spent lots of time in Mexico and Arizona. Beth loved collecting Hummels, Precious Moments, And Beanie Babies.

Beth is survived by her nephew, Mark (Shelly) Skaran of Rochester; and niece, Stephanie (Jake) Kiefer of Stewartville, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margie Grooters; and her two brothers, Arlyn and Leland Heusinkveld.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Bryan-Wegner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville, MN.
