Dorothy L. Brennan, 101, of Rochester passed away Saturday March 12, 2016 at Madonna Towers where she resided for the last nine years. Dorothy Leona Meyer was born July 10, 1914 in Clear Lake, MN to William and Mary (McManus) Meyer. She moved to Rochester after graduation where she married Martin W. Brennan on September 13, 1939. They farmed in the Eyota area until moving to Rochester in 1956. Dorothy worked various jobs and retired from the Olmsted County courthouse in 1979. Dorothy is survived by her son, Don (Gail) Brennan of Rochester, daughter M. Therese Carroll of Rochester, and son Tim Brennan of St. Paul Minn.; 6 grand children, Jay (Gina) Brennan, Jeff (Lisa) Brennan, Jennifer (Richard) Hurt, Amy Carroll, Chris (Stephanie) Carroll, Chad (Melody) Brennan and 13 great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Martin, son Joseph and grandson Casey Carroll, sister Ruth Maeda and brother Don Meyer. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 16, at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester with the Rev. Donald J. Schmitz officiating.
